What is the IWDR?

The International Working Dog Registry is a specialized online database for dog breeders and organizations. As well as securely storing dog data and pedigrees, IWDR offers a variety of selection tools and an expansive knowledgebase full of information to help your breeding program succeed. IWDR’s mission is to provide an affordable, globally-accessible working dog record keeping system that enables the calculation of estimated breeding values on important health and behavior traits for a breed.

Over 117 working dog organizations worldwide trust the IWDR  to securely store their breeding program data and utilise the IWDR’s selection tools to manage their breeding programs. We can proudly state that the IWDR supports breeders in meeting their breeding goals – whether that’s managing inbreeding in a smaller breeding program, improving behavioural or health traits through informed selection processes, or simply keeping all your breeding program data in one place.

IWDR is owned by the non-profit International Working Dog Association (IWDA). IWDR is well-established and will be present for many decades into the future. IWDR is accessible from wherever a user can obtain an internet connection and can be accessed from a phone, tablet, or computer.
