Virtual Advantages

By Jed Weisberger

Virtual meetings, including our 12th annual conference scheduled Oct. 12-14, 2021, have several advantages for attendees.

Naturally the face-to-face meetings and close contact are missed – as many of us are experiencing due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic still limiting activity in a variety of world spots – but there are ways to assure much of the same interactions and fellowship are achieved digitally.

In fact, we are hoping many more of you will be able to attend, given airfare, hotel accommodations, other transportation and meals are expenses that will not have to be accounted for with a virtual conference.

Attendees be able to connect with fellow attendees who share your interest. These will lead to deeper discussions on all topics, including the International Working Dog Registry. All opportunities for Q&A and discussion, as at a face-to-face conference, will be available in an easy-to-use format.

Our conference planners and committees are putting the final touches on three days of live presentations, all of which will be kept in the conference database for 90 days to enable easy follow-ups if one cannot attend a session live.

We appreciate the  challenges of attending an on-line event, and can assure you this will be an enjoyable event with a myriad of opportunities.
