The IWDBA has received several requests for group memberships from both the private and academic areas. Per those requests, we are offering a group discount program.
Program participation is open to members of working dog clubs. An even deeper discounted membership is offered to student clubs aligned with an accredited educational institution. The purpose of the group discount program is to encourage and enable more working dog professional handlers and veterinarians to participate in the IWDA.
The normal cost of an individual IWDBA membership is $150, with a student membership listed at $75. Offered to groups of five or more are the following discounts:
· 5 Members – 20%
· 10 Members – 25%
· 20 Members – 30%
· 35 Members – 35%
· 50 or more Members – 40%
To take advantage of these discounts, point your browser to https://www.iwdba.org/register/. At the bottom of the page, you will see a category for Discounted Club Memberships. Click on Learn More to start the simple four-step registration process:
1. You will come to an Overview page explaining the purpose of the program. Click Continue to move ahead in the process.
2. Next is a page detailing the Group Discount Program Details. Please read them fully. You will be asked to qualify club answering three questions. Click Continue proceed with the process.
3. Following is a page on which you can differentiate whether your group is a General Club or a Student Club. Your estimated membership cost with discount will then be figured. Click Continue, which will bring you to the actual Application.
4. You will be asked to fill the fields for Club Name, Your First and Last Name as the person submitting the registration, a Phone Number for a contact, an Email and Password that will serve as a log-in for your group’s membership account. Please also confirm your password. Click Apply to set things in motion for your club or group.
All applicants will then receive a series Emails to the address which was registered:
The first will confirm your registration and state, “We will send an email within 1-2 days notifiying you of the outcome of our review of your application.”
The second will ask you to click to Verify your Email.
The third will confirm your group’s acceptance and ask you to use the Log-In to your account. A coupon code will also be generated, and you will be able to add all members of your group manually, or by upload of an Excel or CSV file.
All members of your group will receive Online access to three journals: The Journal of Veterinary Behavior, Animal Behaviour, and The Journal of Genetics and Genomics in addition to full access to all news and features at https://www.iwdba.org, our Interactive Forums and planned Webinars.
